Bio:
Chokma (Hello)! My name is Betsy Waller. I grew up in the small town of Marlow, Oklahoma, and in May, I will reach a dream come true and graduate with my Bachelor of Science in International Community Development with a Business minor from Oral Roberts University. Over the summer, I will be attending George Washington University’s Native American Political Leadership Program and intern in Washington, D.C. In the fall, I will attend the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in pursuit of my Master of Public Health in Health Promotion Sciences. My Native American heritage and involvement in the Native American community over the years have contributed greatly to my desire to work in Native American healthcare. I hope to do anything I can to increase access to adequate healthcare services for Native Americans and to improve the overall health of my community in any way I can.
