I am currently attending the University of Washington (UW) in Seattle, Washington. Growing up in small, rural Homedale, Idaho, I appreciated the natural environment; camping and fishing with my parents and family, and having a significant native influence telling me that we have to protect and embrace our land. My mother and grandfather have instilled generational natural tradition and history into my upbringing for which I thrive. I grew up with interest in the intersection of construction of the natural environment and construction of man-made structures. In middle school, I participated in the Future City competition and made it to nationals in Washington D.C. This transitioned into my education at University of Washington where I am studying environmental studies, with a minor in urban design & planning. Ideally, I will be working in sustainable development and transportation, on a local, state, or possibly national level.

My community service includes Officer for Huskies for National Association for the Repeal of Abortion Laws (NARAL), Communications Chair for Hall Council and Outreach Ambassador for the Campus Sustainability Fund. At UW, I work at a dining hall as a Student Manager, participate on the men’s club volleyball team, and enjoy the plethora of outdoor adventures that the Pacific Northwest has to offer.
