X̣est Sx̣lx̣alt (Good Day)!

A warm welcome to American Indian Graduate Center’s website.

American Indian Graduate Center and American Indian Graduate Center Scholars are the largest scholarship provider for Native students in the United States. In the last 50 years, our organization has empowered over 16,000 Native scholars in their pursuit of undergraduate, graduate and professional degrees. We award on average $15 million in scholarships annually and have awarded more than $350 million in scholarships since inception. On our website, you will find more than 20 scholarship opportunities, not to mention countless programs and resources designed specifically to address the needs of Native students in post-secondary education.

As Executive Director of American Indian Graduate Center, I am committed to our mission and vision of funding and empowering the next generation of Native leaders across all sectors by meeting the unmet need of every Native student. With 25 years of experience in executive management of nonprofits, philanthropy, business, Tribal gaming and Tribal education, I have dedicated my entire professional career to positively impacting Tribal communities. Leading The Center for Native Scholarships allows me the opportunity to continue that work.

At American Indian Graduate Center, we are proud to have supported students from over 500 Tribes in all 50 states. In fact, our scholars and alumni are the inspiration and motivation for the work that we do every day. Their accomplishments are an indicator of our success as an organization and I could not be prouder of all they have achieved. They are our legacy.

American Indian Graduate Center is looking to continue that legacy today, tomorrow and for the next 50 years. I hope you’ll join us for the journey.

Lemlmtš (Thank You),

Angelique Albert
