My name is Jenna Blue and I am an enrolled member of the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indians. I am currently 20 years old and a single mother to a beautiful 9 month old baby boy. I attend the Turtle Mountain Community College in Belcourt, North Dakota. I am currently working on obtaining my Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education. I will graduate with my degree in May 2019 and with that degree I plan on staying on my reservation to help the children of my tribe. My goal is to be a change agent for these children in school and help them learn how important their education is. After working at a local school on my reservation for at least a year or two, I will work on obtaining my Masters Degree in Education. My plan after my Masters Degree is to get my Doctorate Degree in Special Education. I will achieve these goals to make a change in my life, my families, and my reservation. Education is key and I hope that I can help make big changes in our community and other areas by giving them a great education.
