The Indigenous Leadership Summit is a two-week virtual summit that aims to create a space to foster leadership development, promote community impact and offer support, strategies, and best practices in implementing Indigenous leadership on participants’ respective campuses communities. Participants will be provided multi-leveled asynchronous online learning curriculum modules.
Summit applicants should meet the following criteria to be eligible to apply for the summit:
- Must be enrolled in an accredited non-profit institution of higher education.
- Must be a current undergraduate-seeking student. (Preference will be given to Juniors and Seniors, but all levels of students are welcome to apply.
- Must be an enrolled member of a federally or state-recognized tribe or be a 1st or 2nd generation descendant and provide proof of enrollment via a copy of their Certificate Degree of Indian Blood, Tribal Membership card, or letter from Tribal enrollment office or Native Hawaiian.
