Position Description: The ACE Fellow will have the opportunity to gain knowledge of cultural resource regulations, laws, and requirements sufficient to be able to address the issues of Federal grant programs, and the opportunity to develop the ability to work with a variety of professional and nonprofessional persons to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of management officials and grant recipients. The fellow may propose novel ways of analyzing and gathering existing data to create visual representations of the division’s grant programs and other work suitable for use on the web or print collateral materials. The fellow is expected to work with other NPS GIS professionals to understand and apply all relevant policy. Projects will typically entail a variety of assigned activities, such as information compilation, retrieval and organization, data entry, and maintenance of information management systems.
