Native American students learn about admissions, maintaining cultural identity at Lawrence University
- Sophie Skenandore-Wheelock, 17, of Oneida, attended the College Horizons program at Lawrence.
- The program brought 86 students from around the U.S. to Lawrence last week.
- The program guides Native American students through the college admissions process.
- It also helps them learn more about their cultural identities and how to maintain them in college.
