Community Service

Each year in my undergraduate career, I volunteered for Rookie Bridge Camp (RBC). It’s an incoming students orientation camp that is put on by students for the students. I was a volunteer for 2 years and an Emeritus my senior year. I also volunteered for many different community service events through my sorority, Sigma Sigma Sigma. This included events like 9/11 Day of Service, MLK Day of Service, The Big Event, Feed my Sheep, Greek Sing, and RiverHawk Jam & Rally. I have also volunteered countless hours at Boys and Girls Club, as well as being a youth soccer coach. In Summer 2020, I am also going to South Africa for 2 weeks to work with and mentor students using educational health interventions. I will be working within the community to promote better community health.
