Short Bio
Ya’at’eeh! My name is Kaylee Begay. I am of Zuni Edgewater Clan and born for the Tangle People Clan, my maternal grandfather is of Red Bottom People Clan and my paternal grandfather is of the Red Streak People Clan. I am originally from a place known as Cottonwood Canyon, which located in Canyon De Chelly, but I reside in Flagstaff, AZ. That is how I present myself as a young woman in today’s society. I am pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Northern Arizona University. My studies and interests include bilingual education and language acquisition. My educational goals include teaching in the Navajo Language. Ahee’hee (Thank you).
