“Thank you for coordinating with me and the Native American Community Academy (NACA).  Our students gained so much knowledge and are better prepared for the next steps.  We are always happy to be a part of college readiness!  Thank you for all that you do to get indigenous students to college.”

Osiyo! My name is DaLacy Dockrey and I am a member of the Cherokee Nation. I am senior at Oklahoma State University pursuing a B.S. in Agricultural Economics and Accounting. After graduating with my bachelors, I plan to pursue a Master’s Degree in Accounting. I hope to use these degrees in the long term to develop equitable fiscal, natural resource, and agricultural policy. At Oklahoma State University, I am involved on campus as a College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources Ambassador, OSU Student Foundation Member, OSU Student Alumni Board Member, and a member of the Oklahoma Agricultural Leadership Encounter Class of XVI. I am thankful for my Native American heritage and to have been raised in rural Oklahoma. I believe the combination of my life experiences and education will allow me to make a difference in other’s lives just like so many have made in my own life.
